Zenobia Mocarski

Zenobia Barbara Mocarski of Evansburg, AB passed away July 14, 2023 at the age of 90 years old.  She was married to the late Peter Eugene Mocarski.  She was the Mother of 3 children - Barbra, George (Bernice) and Eugene (Angela).  Grandmother to 9 Grandchildren - Claude, Daniel, Chantal, Gavin, Nicholas, Julian, Ryan, Jessica and Cayli.  And the Great Grandmother to 13 Great Grandchildren.

She was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Ladies Auxiliary and Heritage Society.  Her and Peter owned and operated a Restaurant and Motel in Jellicoe, ON for 39 years before retiring to Evansburg.  She loved her flowers and gardening and enjoyed watching all kinds of sports, especially curling.

A simple ceremony will be held in Geraldton, ON where her and Peter will be laid to rest with her parents, Alexander and Olga Sirko.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of the Mayerthorpe Hospital for their compassion in her final days.
