Suddenly, unexpectedly, Tanis Dawn Taylor left this world peacefully on April 17, 2026, at the age of 54 years.  

Tanis was born in Regina, SK on May 7, 1971 to Clifford and Marilyn Taylor, the middle child of three.  Tanis was a vibrant child, full of loud energy, a creative spark and a love of animals, especially cats.  She loved to ride horses and play baseball.  Tanis was exceptionally talented in home decorating, with an artistic eye to find ‘just the right thing’ to make the place perfect, and she didn’t have to spend a lot of money doing it!  Tanis cherished mementos from people whom she cared about or from people who thought about her.  She was a good cook and liked to make ‘special’ meals for people.  Tanis loved to play cards, especially crazy eights.  She had a beautiful laugh.  Tanis was a thoughtful, caring woman with a big heart who would do anything for you – she would give you the shirt off her back, even when she had very little to give.  

Left to mourn her passing are her mother, Marilyn Taylor; her brother and best friend, Wade Taylor; her sister Kerrie Taylor;  her son Matthew Toner; her partner Larry, as well as loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.  

Struggles now ended, she joins her dad, Cliff Taylor, in heaven, safe in the arms of Jesus.
