Robert Allan Maskell

Robbie was born in Edmonton in September of 1990 but lived most of his childhood in Sangudo, AB where he spent much of his time biking around town and playing fastball. His family bought Evansburg Inn 2001, that summer the family toured Evansview School and Grand Trunk High School as Robbie would be entering grade 7 and his sister Lindsey would’ve been in grade 5. Little did he know that he would meet his future wife that day and that she was the first person he spoke to in Evansburg. Robbie’s high school years were turbulent but he met and made many deep lasting friendships here over the years. Many still talk of his shenanigans, meanwhile, his future wife Jacey and himself started a weaving little dance in and out of each other’s lives. Robbie moved to Edmonton with friends after high school and had many adventures but he returned home to work at the family business in 2011, Jacey lived with Robbie when she was not in university and they began planning a life together. They acquired their first furry child Aspen in February 2012. Robbie proposed in December of 2015, they were married in August of 2018. They welcomed their greatest gift, a son Beaux in May of 2020 and became a family of four. Unfortunately, life had other plans for him, Robbie lost his life July 24th, 2022. 

Robbie leaves behind his loving wife, Jacey, son Beaux, and furry daughter Aspen. He is survived by his mother Christine, father Gary, sister Lindsey, grandmother Diane Maskell, and grandfather Allan Dyer. As well as Jodi and Dennis Bura (in-laws), Braden and Brett Bura (brother-in-laws) as well Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends and honorary family. 

Robbie never wanted a funeral, a Celebration of Life will be held September 10th, 2022 at Rangeton with a potluck dinner.
