Michelle Szautner
February 17, 1958 – February 7, 2025
“Blessed are those who mourn; for they will be comforted” Matthew 5:4.
The family of Michelle Szautner (nee Carnegie) are deeply saddened to announce her sudden passing on February 7, 2025. Just shy of her 67th birthday.
Michelle is loved and missed so very much by the love of her life Allan Szautner, her daughter Chrissy & son-in-law Rick Smith, her sons Jason, Casey & daughter-in-law Heather & the joys of her life, her grandbabies Riley, Morgan, Bailey & Emerson Szautner & Carly Smith. She will also be greatly missed by her sisters Glenna, Lori (Dan), Evie & Bonnie and their families, and also by Allan’s brothers, who considered her their sister, Bob, David, Gary & Glen & their families, and numerous nieces & nephews.
Over the years she gained some wonderful people in her life, Roger & Jeanette, Terry & Linda, Kelly Senchyna & Andrew Kook; she pulled them and their families into her nest and they are heartbroken by her passing. She was loved by many, and all who knew her, knew that she loved with everything she had.
Michelle was predeceased by her father Gordon, her mother Phyllis, her brothers Steve and Larry, her precious granddaughter Aria, and her mother & father in-law Johanna & Mike.
As per her wishes, the family will have a small private gathering at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association, and let’s pray for a cure.
Hug your loved ones.
“I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13
