Mary Labuda

Mary Labuda of Wabamun, Alberta passed away April 7, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, son Jim, daughter Patty, sister Emily and parents Frank and Emilia Zubal.

Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt. She loved to help others and was always willing to share meals, care and help for anyone in need. She was a hard and determined worker who was committed to helping her family and community. Mary belonged to the CWL (Catholic Women’s League) and the Wabamun Community Association. Mary spent many hours volunteering to raise money to build the local church. She loved gardening, cooking, curling, and fishing. Mary was skilled in quilting, petty point and crocheting. She was loved and well- respected in the community. She will be dearly missed by her son Peter and remaining family.
