Marian Madden

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother and grandmother Marian Madden (Brewer) of Wildwood, Alberta .  Marian lived her life with strength and  compassion and will be remembered for her laugh, hugs and her unwavering love of family and friends.

Marian spent her life in Wildwood and enjoyed her years raising her 3 children, along with spending time with her many grandchildren and later, great-grandchildren. She had lots of fun laughing with neighbours and friends while working at the Wildwood Hotel and would enjoy telling her many stories from over the years.  She received numerous ribbons for her flower gardens and fountain and enjoyed the spring season when she tried to see if she could improve her gardening ideas.

Marian was predeceased by her husband Pat (1984) and son, James (2013), along with her parents and numerous brothers and sisters.

She will be remembered by her son, Gerry (Christine) and daughter, Debbie.  Grandchildren: Kurtis, Kim (Dennis), Kara, Shelley (James (2023), Pat (Credwyn), Kelsey (Noel), Kyle (Sarah).  Great-grandchildren: Brady, Lucas, Elyse, Violet, Hailey, Dawson, Kenadi, Denelle, Chance, Kyra, Emmett and Henley.  As well as great-great grandchildren: Willow, Avaana and Memphis.

A celebration of life will be held for Marian in the spring of 2024.
