Kurt Flemming Mortensen

• Kurt Flemming Mortensen, 72, of Seba Beach, Alberta passed away September 16, 2016.
• Kurt was born May 1, 1944 in Fredensborg, Denmark.  He immigrated to Canada in 1969.  He loved working as a heavy duty mechanic both in Alberta and the Arctic.  He was an avid skier, bicyclist, weight training enthusiast, and dog lover.
He is survived and loved by his wife, Barb Mortensen; his daughters, Charlotte (Heine) Hansen, and Marianne (Steve) Smith; three sons, Tyson Mortensen, Kai (Toni) Mortensen, and Erik (Jen) Mortensen; his grandchildren, Ayla, Camryn, Chloe, and Connor; his sister-in-laws, Elly Mortensen and Brenda Jones; and nieces and nephews.
At Kurt's request cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.  A private celebration of life will be held at a later date in the mountains.  Condolances may be sent to www.townandcountryfuneralservices.com.
