It is with great sadness that the family of Joan McDonald announce her passing on July 1,2023 at the age of 88 years old.

Joan will forever be lovingly remembered by her children Darrell McDonald, Grant (Debra) McDonald, Raymond McDonald, Kathy Yeoman (Brad Graham), John (Lynn) McDonald; grand children Michael (Jill) McDonald, Megan McDonald, Hailey, Skyler (Sarah Ellis) McDonald, Marissa, Brett (Kasia Howie) Yeoman, Aimey McDonald; great grandsons Jaxton and Zayde McDonald and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Joan was predeceased by her husband (Bud) Ronald Edgar McDonald; her parents Oscar and Elvira Wikstrom; brothers Floyd, Addlore, Stan, Mervin, Milton, Vint and Gene Wikstrom.

Remembering Joan to take place July 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with a graveside service at the Darwell Cemetery.

Fellowship and refreshments to follow at the Interlake Golden Age Club (Darwell Seniors). An open microphone will be available for those who would like to share their memories of Joan.

In memory of Joans life, the family asks that any charitable donation be made to the Interlake Golden Age Club or a charity of your choice.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of the Mayerthorpe Extended Care for their compassion in her final days.
