Helen Chernecki

Helen Chernecki, 87, of Wildwood, Alberta, died peacefully in her sleep on June 26, 2018. Born on May 27, 1931 in present day Belarus. Helen emigrated to Canada and settled in Wildwood, Alberta. She became a homemaker and lived in Wildwood with her husband, Arthur Chernecki. Together they owned and operated the Wildwood Hardware Store. She loved to cook and care for her family.

Survivors include her four children, Karen(Michael) Gramatovich of Sangudo, Sharon (Ken) Pawlyna of St. Albert, James (Mary) Chernecki of Edmonton and Richard Chernecki of Wildwood. Private services and burial were held at St. George's Russian Orthodox Church in Wildwood.
