Edward Balfour “Ted” Peck
May 23, 1935 - January 15, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Ted Peck announce his passing on January 15, 2023 in Stony Plain, Alberta at 87 years of age.

Ted will be lovingly remembered by his wife Pat (Steeves); his stepsons Darryl (Michelle) Rose and Gerry (Gloria) Rose and two grandchildren Zaden and Brynn Rose whom he loved dearly.

He will also be missed by his brothers David (Edna), Michael (Norma), and Ken (Jody), as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and his many friends. Ted was predeceased by his parents Malcolm and Mary (Balfour) Peck and his sisters Rosemary Sweet and Laurel Davies.

Ted grew up in Lake Isle and lived there for most of his life except for when he was working in other areas of Canada. About 50 years ago Ted returned to Lake Isle for good to help his parents on the farm and with raising his little brother Ken. He worked as a truck driver at Whitewood mine in Wabamun until his retirement. Twenty years ago Ted married Pat Rose, the love of his life. They lived in the Darwell area and enjoyed life on the farm until his passing.

A celebration of Ted’s life will take place on January 27, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Darwell Hall. If you are moved to make a charitable donation in honour of Ted, he would have been pleased to have you direct it to something important to you.
