Edna Dakin

On Sunday February 26, 2017 Edna Dakin who lived most of her life in the Lake- Isle/ Wabamun/ Evansburg Area passed away at the age of 88.

Edna was born in Dakin, Alberta~ originally built by her Grandfather Captin Herald Hanford Dakin, later renamed Atmore, Alberta.

Edna's passions where her gardening, being outdoors, her painting ~ she loved to paint, and her sewing ~ she designed her own patterns and sewed them up.

Edna is survived by her 5 children, Cathryn (Bruce), Shirley (Ron), Ronald (Crystal), Jef, Vaughn (Flo) and her 11 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Edna is predeceased by her parents Ethel and Frank and her sisters Stella Beatty, Verna Babich and Anita Hetke. As well as her eldest son Richard.
