Corrie Sanders

Corrie Sanders (Cornelia Gerarda Sanders -nee Hoogenboom) of Evansburg, Alberta (25 years), Hinton and Mercoal, AB for 41 years - 1952-1993) passed away peacefully with her children by her side on March 22, 2018.  Corrie was born in Hoogmade, Holland on June 8, 1924, and lived a full and happy life here in Canada with her husband Tony after immigrating to Canada in 1952. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Jane (Dale) Kezar (Hinton, AB), Henry (Paulette) Sanders (Edmonton, AB), Cora (Shane) Turner (Drayton Valley, AB) and John Sanders (Hinton, AB).  She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her husband, Anthony (Oct.5/22-Aug.10/93), her son William (July 22/57-Jan.18/70) and granddaughter Kate (April 2, 1998).  Corrie was the last of her generation in both her and her husband's families. She was a beautiful lady with a heart of gold and will be sadly missed by family and friends.  Rest in Peace, Mom.
