Roxanne Paulette Taylor (Curl)
April 11, 1973 – November 5, 2017
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roxanne Paulette Taylor (Curl) who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the Whitecourt Health Care Centre at the age of 44.
Roxanne was a beautiful person who will be dearly missed by her devoted husband of fourteen years, Verne; and their sons Daniel and Joshua. Roxanne will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Linda Curl, grandmother Doris Poole, brother Randy (Monika), mother in law Sharon Taylor, brother in law Lew (Tina), sister in law Sarah(Kirby), nieces; Nikita, Emily, Lainey, Kiarah, and nephews; Aaron, Jonah and Kyle. She leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends who will cherish their memories forever. She is predeceased by her grandparents; Walter and Charlotte Curl, Hubert Poole and father in law William Taylor.
Roxanne’s free spirited; fun- loving personality was one that many gravitated to as was seen in her extended support group and sisters network that she profoundly cherished. She was always eager to volunteer in groups and organizations that the boys were involved in; always bonding and nurturing more friendships along the way.
Roxanne was loyal to her Labrador culture and traditions, being outside, camping, snowmobiling and having a cook up was Roxanne’s “cup of tea.”
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Whitecourt United Church (5201 50st) at 1:00pm with Reverend Rita Milne officiating. Following the service, will be a luncheon in the church basement.
Special thanks to Dr. Byers Jr, and staff of the Whitecourt Health Care Centre for your professionalism and constant care of Roxanne.
