Albert Monty

Albert Monty, 85 years of age passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at his home in Wildwood. 

Albert was born on January 4, 1934, in Styal, Alberta. He spent his youth in Wildwood before going to work on the pipeline in the early 1950’s. Albert pipelined across Canada stringing pipe with both the sideboom and crane, and it was in Dorion, Ontario where he met Gladys. Albert retired in 2002 enjoying gardening, visiting with his family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and ice fishing on Chip Lake. 

Albert will be forever remembered by his loving wife, of 60 years, Gladys Monty; sons Doran and Calvin; daughter Cathy(Don); grandchildren Jolene, Melissa, Julie, Kari, Jenelle; and five great-grandchildren. Albert was predeceased by his mother, Barbara; father, Lawrence; brother, Tony; sister, Helen; and son, Darrell. 

A private family service at Albert’s request will take place in the coming days. Thank you, everyone, for your loving condolences.
